Tormek ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate - Pack of 2

This Tormek additive makes water non-corrosive; it is particularly recommended for use when sharpening using the Tormek diamond-grinding wheels. However, there is no reason why you cannot use it with the standard Tormek grinding wheels. The anti-corrosion properties benefit your tools whatever grindstone you use.

This superb product is easy to use; simply mix it with water and fill the trough of the grinder. It inhibits corrosion both in the tools sharpened and in the machine itself. Supplied as a twin-pack of 150ml bottles, which will make up to approximately 7.5 litres of non-corrosive water in total. Add only 10ml concentrate to 250ml of water ( at 4%) for correct dilution, a little goes a long way. The bottle has a scale showing 1ml and 10ml increments. Mix the ACC-150 anti-corrosion concentrate and water before adding to your water trough. Lower the water trough if you want to save the mix overnight. Also effective when used with Japanese water stones and diamond sharpening stones.

ACC-150 Usage Recommendation:
ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate makes the water in your water-cooled sharpening system corrosion inhibitant. It's used when wet sharpening with any of Tormek's diamond grinding wheels. You can also use it with a grindstone without problems, so you don't have to discard it if you want to switch from a diamond grinding wheel to a grindstone, and then back again. Then you'll still have corrosion inhibiting water when you return to your diamond grinding wheel.

Add 10 ml (0.02 pints) of concentrate to 250 ml (0.4 pints) of water (~4%). The bottles come with a measuring scale for easy dosing. Mix the concentrate and water, then pour into the water tray. If you want to save the mixture overnight, remember to always lower or remove the water tray so that your grinding wheel doesn't sit in the water more than necessary. ACC-150 Anti-Corrosion Concentrate doesn't contain antifreeze.
