The Makita DJR186Z is Makita's flag ship reciprocating saw. It falls nicely between the mini DJR183 and the 36v DJR360ZK and gives an affordable option for both DIY and site users. Easy to use with the ability for tool-less blade changes, also fitted with a trigger switch and lock-off lever. This Makita reciprocating saw is powered by the Li-Ion battery platform from Makita and was designed with durability in mind. With a high cutting speed of up to 2,800 spm and a stroke length of up to 32mm to increase cutting efficiency, the DJR186Z is a powerful cordless reciprocating saw. It incorporates an entirely new crank mechanism to lessen machine vibration and minimise blade deflection.
The DJR186Z has a large 2-finger, variable speed trigger and a tool-free blade change, which makes it simpler to remove the blade. Elastomer was used in the handle's construction to ensure a comfortable, controlled grip even during challenging cutting tasks like cutting overhead or with the saw turned upside down. XPT (eXtreme Protection Technology) helps to defend against dust and dripping water in outdoor applications or extreme conditions.
