The Makita DHR202Z is Makita's latest SDS+ Rotary Hammer Drill, it eclipses the BHR202Z and is significantly more compact and a lot lighter than that model. The DHR202Z is a 3 mode SDS+ machine: Rotary, Rotary Hammer or Chisel. It comes with a built-in torque limiter to protect the life of the machine, an auto-disengaging clutch for any jammed drill bits, depth stopper and side handle for even more control. The Makita DHR202 18V LXT SDS-PLUS Rotary Hammer can easily drill through masonry, wood, and steel. To achieve the ideal operating angle, the chisel can rotate 360 degrees with 40 different locking positions. The battery is protected from vibration and improper electrical contact thanks to a special rubber joint construction. Lithium-Ion batteries, such as the 3Ah BL1830, 4Ah BL1840, and 5.0Ah BL1850, are used to power this model.
