It's commonly used in industrial assembly tasks, such as with screwdriving robots. It's compatible with bits featuring a 1/4" hexagon head drive according to DIN ISO 1173-C 6.3 standards. The drive itself is a 1/4" hexagon, suitable for power screwdrivers with uptake conforming to DIN ISO 1173-F 6.3.
