The Tormek T-4 features a zinc cast top incorporating the machine's key components: the main shaft, Universal Support and motor assembly, which results in superb accuracy. Two sleeves hold the Universal Support in the zinc cast top, this along with the locking device and tight tolerances guarantees perfect results every time.

The T-4 is ideal for sharpening cabinet making hand tools, knives, scissors and woodcarving and turning tools. It comes supplied with two useful accessories, the first of which is the SP-650 Stone Grader that can be used to keep the stone cutting efficiently as well as changing the surface from a (220g) coarse cut to (1,000g) fine. The equivalent of 2,500-3,000g can be achieved on the leather wheel. The second is the AngleMaster, an adjustable device used to set the correct angle for grinding plane and chisel blades. Magnets on the reverse side of the AngleMaster mean that it is easy to store it conveniently on the steel machine plate.
Also supplied is the unique Tormek Handbook, where all the information that is required to shape, sharpen and hone your tools to perfection can be found. The T-4 uses a powerful, industrial AC motor and the shaft supporting the wheels is made from corrosion resistant stainless steel. It also includes the Tormek Handbook.

Sharpen your knives:
The HTK-1006 Hand Tool Kit includes all our jigs for sharpening the vast majority of knives in your home. This kit includes the KJ-45 Centering Knife Jig, which you can use to sharpen everything from regular kitchen knives to outdoor knives, even lawnmower blades. In a nutshell, a very versatile jig!
The kit also includes the KJ-140 Wide Centering Knife Jig. The wider clamp stabilizes the long and flexible blades of filleting knives, for example. This gives you an even bevel and angle along the entire blade, even on knives with flexible blades that are otherwise difficult to sharpen uniformly.
Also included is the SVM-00 Small Knife Holder to be used together with the KJ-45 Centering Knife Jig. These allow you to easily sharpen even your smallest knives.
