Replacing the 5704 which has been our best-selling 190mm circular saw for many years the Makita HS7601 has many improved features and a compact design.
The HS7601 is almost 1kg lighter than its predecessor and 36mm shorter in length. It is lightweight and compact, with a powerful 1,200w motor and an increased speed of 5,200rpm, this saw is literally like a knife through butter. Maximum cut at 90° is 66mm and at 45° an impressive 48.5mm and the single lever adjustment makes depth change quick and effortless. The saw guard is die cast and has a rear exhaust port for connection to a dust extractor and the aluminium base plate is guide rail compatible when used in conjunction with the 197005-0 adaptor which is available as an accessory.
