The Dewalt DCS378N-XJ 18v XR Cordless Mid Sized Portable Band Saw is ideally suited for cutting lengths of metal, including threaded rod, unistrut and steel pipework. It creates little or no sparks when cutting metal and provides smooth cuts leaving surfaces burr-free. The bandsaw is well balanced and easy to handle in all orientations including overhead. 

It has an 18V Brushless motor for extended durability, efficiency and power delivering 537W and a max no load speed of 171m/min, it also has a Variable speed giving ultimate speed and application control, 5 speed settings and VS trigger. 

It has Large cut capacity (83mm) which is +32% compared to the existing DEWALT unit (DCS371). The DCS378N-XJ is supplied with a 18TPI bare (Bare unit no battery or charger)
