Marshalltown 6" Durasoft Joint Knife

The Marshalltown Hammer Head Joint Knife Durasoft is designed for applying joint compound over the taped seams between drywall sheets. The knife features a tempered high carbon steel blade that has been polished to a mirror finish. The hammer head design means that there is a one-piece blade and tang that runs through the full length of the handle, providing greater strength.

The Durasoft rubber handle has been ergonomically designed for optimum grip and comfort and features a metal end cap to allow protruding nails to be knocked back. In addition to applying joint compound, the knife can also be used in place of a putty knife for filling in nail or screw holes, or as a scraper for removing old paint
