The Makita LS1219 305mm Slide Compound Electric Mitre Saw has raised the bar for professional mitre saws. The bevel lock is located at the front of the saw. Equipped with an excellent dust removal function. The 305mm diameter, 30mm bore blade spins at a max 3200rpm no load speed, so it really gets every last drop of power from the 1800W/240v - 1450W/110v motor, capable of mitre cuts 60° Left and right and bevel cuts 48° Left & right, together with the two work piece supports, there isn't much that this machine can't cut. The motor head slides on fixed pipes without any extension coming out the back, so can be placed very close to a wall for ease of use.
