Footprint 11563 1" Long Handle Scutch Chisel

EXTRA LENGTH HANDLE - You spoke, we listened. The handle has been lengthened in this new design. It measures 14 inches (350mm) which allows for a deeper reach between thick brick, block and stonework that a normal scutch chisel wouldn’t be able to access. It also means no rasping your knuckles when cutting shapes into walls. Footprint produces the only one of its kind in the UK!

MULTIPURPOSE - Essential bricklaying tool and for dry stone walling. Cuts brick, rock, stone, concrete, breeze blocks and marble. Use in place of a scutching hammer or brick bolster and club or lump hammer/mallet. Ideal for dressing stone, cutting brick, cleaning bricks and before pointing. Also used for chasing channels in walls for cables. Use with 1” scutch combs or drove bits (not included).

It is fully drop forged from one piece of high carbon steel from head to handle and will stand the test of time whether you're dressing stone, cutting brick and block, chasing channels or removing mortar and render for repointing. Manufactured at the Footprint plant in Sheffield.
