The Festool 577179 KSC 60 EB 5,2 I-UG-Set18/36V 216mm KAPEX Sliding Compound Mitre Saw is the complete package for professional carpenters engaged in kitchen and floor fittings. Festool have fitted the 577179 with a brushless EC-TEC motor that powers two 18V batteries to create a mitre saw that delivers 38V. This ensures that this saw will run longer and do so for longer periods. Such power allows users to take advantage of the variety of cutting depths efficiently. At 90°/90° it has a depth of 305 x 60 mm and at 45°/90° of 215 x 60 mm. To guarantee accuracy the 577179 has a clearly visible scale and the locking positions can be used for the pre-set angles, or the easy-to-use clamp can allow individual adjustments. This is enhanced by a LED spotlight that highlights the cutting line. The versatility continues due to mitre angles of up to 60° and bevel angles of up to 47° on each side.
