The P5–WC wet diamond cores are designed for drilling into concrete & reinforced concrete by using suitable diamond drill motors that run at appropriate speeds. The machine speed is mainly dependant on the core size and strength of the concrete. Ideally a drilling rig stand is recommended as this can be fixed down to insure there is no movement in the set-up, however for smaller diameters it is possible to use some diamond drill motors hand held. A constant flow of water of up to 2 gallons per minute is advisable on most reinforced concrete applications, so a direct mains water feed is thoroughly recommended. The P5–WC wet cores can also be used to drill most hard natural stones. |
