The Makita LXT DUH523 is a useful cordless hedge cutter packed with great features. It has a unique anti-vibration system with 5 dampers to greatly reduce the amount of vibration to the operator which eases the hedge cutting process. It has the ability to change blade without dissembling the housing. Powered by a single Makita 18v lithium-ion battery.

The powerful 18v motor & battery provides no load speed of 1350rpm.
Easily replaceable 520mm blade with 15mm cutting diameter can be removed without disassembling the housing, the stain free shear blade surface of glittering silver obtained by non-electrolyzed nickel plating that features high anti-abrasion surface for long lasting coating.
Battery capacity warning lamp blinks red if battery power has been nearly used up. Solid red if battery power has been used up (Battery protector will shut off the power.)
Anti-vibration structure consisting of Motor-crank section and handle section linked by 5 cushions to absorb vibration from blade & motor-crank section for added user comfort. The lightweight 3.3kg design & rubberised soft grip provide a comfortable & sure grip for greater tool control.
The DUH523Z is supplied as a tool only unit and has no batteries, charger or case making it the ideal way to build up an existing Makita 18V kit. Batteries and charger are available separately.
